Hello! and Welcome back!!

It has been a while but the important thing is I’m back. And what better way to return than with a gym leggings review???!!! AAH!!! I’M SO EXCITED!! I just love anything fitness-related!!!!

I had a hard time picking my top 5 leggings because I just love all of them. For the purposes of this post, let me just expose myself: My waist is 30″ and my glutes are 41″. So in no particular order let’s get started.

1. Faded Out Active Leggings – Fashion Nova

For the longest time, I wanted to try out Fashion Nova active wear but  I’m one of those people that want to hear from someone that I know before making a purchase. It is difficult to solely rely on Internet reviews. Unfortunately I didn’t know anybody who had FN activewear so I took matters into my own hands.

Price: These were on sale for $USD 9.09

Comfort level: These are very comfortable, stretchy, squat proof, high waisted, not really sweat proof, a little camel toe but personally it doesn’t bother me. I actually wear these even when I’m not working out because let’s be honest they look cute.

Sizing: Medium.

2. Thigh Highs in Navy – Bombshell Sportswear

Price: $USD86!!! My bank account was cryinggggggg after that purchase. But because I like things, I couldn’t resist.

Comfort level: these are sooo light! I love it! And to my surprise they are squat proof considering the lightness. The waistband is not thick at all but it stays in place when working out. I pull them up to have the high waisted look and it works which is a bonus for all of us who are not comfortable exposing our love handles.

Sizing: Medium (based on site’s size chart)

3.  Dark Red Vortex leggings – Famme Sportswear

Price: I had to do a little research on these because I didn’t personally buy these – a friend of mine gifted them to me #chooseyourfriendswisely. These leggings are $USD80.00

Comfort level: The vortex leggings are comfy, high waisted, squat proof, they do show some sweat but nothing extreme. The color is to die for, the camera doesn’t really do it any justice. I wouldn’t recommend wearing these for running or any jumpy activity because the waist doesn’t really stay in place. I did sprints in these and the leggings went from high waisted to low rise real quick.

4. Flex Legging in Charcoal/Deep Plum – GymShark

Price: $USD38.00 I think that’s very affordable considering how expensive the brand typically is.

Comfort level: The flex leggings are goals! lol I know that’s a very cheesy statement to say but THEY ARE GOALS! The leggings are squat proof, the waist band is thick and it stays in place throughout my workout. I always pull them to have the high waisted look and it works for me. The only downside is that they are too long so I tend to fold them. Over time the little elastics on the waist band start peeking through.

5. High Rise Lululemon Leggings

I don’t remember the name of these leggings because the price just messed with my brain lol. Once again my bank account cried buckets of tears after that purchase.

Price: $113.00CAN  *sigh. Lets just move on.

Comfort level: very comfortable, squat proof, high waisted, they do show sweat mainly because of the vibrant color. At the back of the waist band, there is a pocket and my phone fits in it. The waist band doesn’t move at all and it sucks in your tummy. So I guess these are worth the price.

Sizing: Size 6.
